The Celts were people that lived in some parts of Europe lots of years ago.

They were from different parts of Europe:- Scotland.- Ireland- Wales- Bretagne (France) and Galicia.

They lived in little houses in villages.

In Galicia there were some of these villages

BAROÑA

SANTA MARIÑA (Cervantes)

Their houses were circular and made of stone and straw

Some houses here in Galicia

are similar to the Celtic houses

There is rock art in all these countries

In Galicia too!

HOW TO DO OUR WOODEN CELTIC PLATE

WOODEN PLATE SANDPAPER

WOOD STAIN BRUSHES

ACETATE RAZOR KNIFE

GOLDEN PAINT STICKY TAPE

HOW TO DO CELTIC PLATES1.-Look for the patternyou want to paint on your plate and drawit on a piece of acetate. (Be aware that not all the patterns are good for this work.)

2.- With a razor knife go along the lines

of the patternand cut until you have

created the template to paint.Pay attention

to leave lines of acetate in between the spaces

you will paint)

3.-Rub the plate with sandpaper

4.-Paint the plate with wood stain

and let it dry.

5.-Rub the plate with sandpaper

and clean it.

6.-Place the templateon the plate and paint

with golden paint.

7.-Remove the template

8.-Nail a pin at the back and hang it!
