Lighting

• The lighting in the cave is simple because the only light we get is the light from the headlamps and the slivers of light from the sun outside. The only other lighting in the scene is the infrared. This is done to help show the audience the monsters within the scene. This is done to build the suspense because the audience cant see the monsters in the sequence.

Location

• The location of the scene is in the cave. The cave isn't real it has being designed and would have being built up in a computer. This is done because it would have being dangerous to film in a real cave because of health and safety. The colours are dark all the way through.

Costumes

• In this scene the costume worn by the actors is similar because they are all wearing the caving gear. The differences here is that Juno isn't wearing all the safety gear as the other characters such as Beth who is wearing the gear. This indicates to the audience that Juno is more experienced than all the other characters in the film and shes more of a risk taker.

props

• The head lights are the main prop in this scene because without them we would’t have any light at all in the scene and they also indicate to the audience of how dark it actually is in the cave. The other prop is the camera because it allows the characters to see all the dead bodys in the cave through the infrared.
