Casey Federman Supports the SOVA Community Food
and Resource Program
Managing Director of Martell Capital Group LLC (dba Irongate), Casey Federman plays an active role in several Los Angeles-area philanthropic endeavors, donating his time, energy, and resources to a wide range of humanitarian causes. Among those that Casey Federman supports is the SOVA Community Food and Resource Program, an initiative of the Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles.
The Hebrew word for “eat and be satisfied,” SOVA is further distinguished as an acronym for Sustenance, Opportunity, Volunteerism, and Advocacy – all traits the Jewish Family Service aims to promote in the greater Los Angeles community. In addition to a fully stocked food pantry for underserved families and individuals, SOVA provides the community with free legal support and job-counseling services, helping address the symptoms of poverty at the source. Moreover, SOVA offers a unique opportunity for volunteers of all ages to give back in many ways, whether through donations or community service. SOVA has food pantries in Los Angeles, as well as in nearby West Hollywood and Van Nuys.
