Simple Colours of white, blue, black and yellow makes it very clear - these colours are muted slightly making the image of the band very clear to see

The colour switch between yellow and white for each band with the main band name “PARAMORE” in white out lined in colours chosen from the image

Yellow has been used for the free CD Puff to make it stand out as there is not much yellow in that section of the page – the free CD is relevant to the magazine as it would have music on it and it is a music magazine

Skyline – attract to the readers to special features

Anchorage text is used to give information about the main article relating to the main image on the front cover

Cover Image - a 5 piece puck rock band, picture is a high angle long shot . Everyone it looking up and has direct mode of address

The layout of the cover lines are in thirds with lots in the top and bottom third and only the text about the image in the middle third

I will imitate some of the features of RockSound

in my magazine

Simple Colours of black and white with yellow green and red as accent colours brings out the different features

Most of the writing is in white with key words like Free and the writing above and below the main article in colours

red has been used for the free poser special Puff to make it stand out as there is not much red in that section of the page –the posers are of different bands that might feature in the magazine so it is helping to highlight and advertise the bands
