CAPITALISM IS ANOTHER NAME FOR EVIL…..

Page 3: Capitalism

Today my presentation is about Capitalism is another name for evil & I agree with it….

Introducing A Capitalist…Adam Smith who was born in 5 June 1723 &

died in 17 July 1790Wrote a book in 1776 named “The Wealth of

Nations”

What is Capitalism…?

Capitalism is an economic system in which trade, industry and the means of production are controlled by private owners with the goal of making profits in a market company.

Page 6: Capitalism

What is good about Capitalism…?

Now,, I’ll talk about some advantages of Capitalism which will provide a clear concept about the good sides of Capitalism….

Page 7: Capitalism

Happiness…….

Page 8: Capitalism

Happiness…….As we know that capitalist countries like the

USA, Canada, New Zealand and the whole of Europe are the happiest in the world. Because in these countries whatever products people want, they can get. Where do all these thousands of products come from? Well, the less happy countries are the main exporters of consumer goods.

Viable Alternatives…

Page 10: Capitalism

Viable Alternatives…Perhaps the strongest argument working in

favor of democratic capitalism is that there is no alternative politico-economic system which has proved itself to work in our modern age.

Page 11: Capitalism

Growth…

Page 12: Capitalism

Growth…Capitalism allows the economy to grow

exponentially. It is a basic fact of economics that the more money a firm makes, the more it can invest in production, and the more it invests in production, the more money it makes.

Page 13: Capitalism

Freedom…

Page 14: Capitalism

Freedom…Most of you have grown up in a world-class

education system. Here you can choose whatever career you want. At educational case you select your favorite subjects and followed by applying to a job you choose by your own. This is capitalism at its finest : freedom to live your life the way you want.

Page 15: Capitalism

Social Good…

Page 16: Capitalism

Social Good…It might seem at first glance that everyone is

selfishly working for their own money, but dig a little deeper and you’ll find the difference. Like factory workers produce the products that we can’t live without & police works to protect us. The bottom line is that, no matter the job; highly or poorly paid, glamorous or dirty, competitive or ‘easy’; everyone can have the satisfaction as much as the well-known public figures.

Page 17: Capitalism

What is bad about Capitalism…?Now I’ll talk about some disadvantages of

Capitalism which will provide a clear concept about the bad sides of Capitalism…

Page 18: Capitalism

Inequality…

Page 19: Capitalism

Inequality…The common capitalist mantra is “anyone can

be rich if they work hard enough”. In order to make money, first you have to take it from someone else. This can be done through selling things or any other means. But this means that the rich cannot exist without the poor. Any way, there’s never going to be equality under capitalism.

Page 20: Capitalism

Waste…

Page 21: Capitalism

Waste…Millions of dollars worth of food is wasted by

those who have more than they need, while there are many others who desperately need it.

Page 22: Capitalism

Starvation…

Page 23: Capitalism

Starvation…In Third World countries, many are starving

because they cannot afford to feed themselves, while in Western countries feed themselves with an excess of food and waste the rest of it.

Page 24: Capitalism

Anti-Social…

Page 25: Capitalism

Anti-Social…If people are worried about what’s in

their own pocket, they will avoid helping human beings because they’re looking after themselves. People feel the need to put themselves first because they think no-one will be there to help them if they lose all their money.

Page 26: Capitalism

Undemocratic…

Page 27: Capitalism

Undemocratic…While every individual has a single vote in a

democracy, in a capitalist system, they have very little say in the actions of government.

Page 28: Capitalism

Pollution…

Page 29: Capitalism

Pollution…It shouldn’t be hard to convince people not to

kill themselves but this is what companies are doing as they refuse to put in because it will reduce their profit margins. It doesn’t matter to them that, in the long term, we’ll all be dead, as long as in the short term they’ll have the most money.

Page 30: Capitalism

War…

Page 31: Capitalism

War…Many of the wars fought in recent years have

been over profit. In Iraq, the war was largely funded by oil barons. In Libya, western forces intervened when the civil war caused oil supplies to be cut off. In Iran, military intervention is being threatened over the blocking of trading routes to transport oil.

Page 32: Capitalism

Well, today I have talked about Capitalism. It’s clear that Capitalism is just good for them who are rich but not for all. That’s why I agree that Capitalism is another name for evil.
