The message that there is one way to success, and it’s not the

humanities, is strong.

It can feel like our work, values are being dismantled.

The drop in enrollments is also alarming.

Students say, “I love Spanish, but what can I do with it?”

They can do a lot with Spanish in the community, if we take

them there.
