In- house advisors are available to meet and give free consultation to the Malaysian companies as well as a liasion officer specially assigned to your company to support your investment plan. When they are certain in setting up a base in Japan, they also have the privilege to use IBSC’s free temporary office facilities up to 50 days. Being in Japan personally and meeting the right advisors and Japanese businessmen will no doubt be one of the best ways to expand your market in Japan. A business matching session will be organized at the IBSC Hall in Tokyo. Tokyo Pack 2010 Tokyo Pack is the largest international packaging show in the Asian region in terms of both exhibitors and visitors. Tokyo Pack 2008 comprised 2,362 booths taken up by 549 corporations of which 65 were foreign exhibitors from Australia, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Holland, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, Vietnam. A total of 64,701 visited the Tokyo Pack 2008. In Tokyo Pack 2010, themed “Keys to Success Lie in Packaging”, 2,600 booths have been allocated and at least 500 exhibitors expected. Currently, 385 exhibitors have been confirmed. ASEAN-Japan Business Meeting (AJBM) The ASEAN-Japan Business Meeting (AJBM) was first held in 1974 in Tokyo, Japan, on the initiative of Keizai Doyukai, one of the most influential economic organizations in Japan. The AJBM seeks to play an increasingly important role to enable a positive and frank exchange of views between ASEAN and Japanese business persons.
