Introduction

This project is an integrated component where it involves structural

theory, force calculation and basic structural proposal, which require

demonstration of knowledge and understanding of building structure

as well as load distribution. Our goal is to quantify the load carried by

structural members in a 2-3 storey house. We have requested for floor

plans of a doubled storey semi-detached house in Kg. Sungai Akar

Mukim Berakas, Negara Brunei Darassalam, prepared by Kamila

Construction Sdn.Bhd. For the purpose of this assignment, some of the

beams and columns are added or removed in order to create complex

beams.
