Lessons for resilience policy

• Child nutrition status as a measure of resilience, at household and national level

• National systems need to be designed to help vulnerable households manage a wider range of extensive risks, often idiosyncratic in nature

• Strengthen and build linkages between informal (community based) and formal services and systems (safety nets, health, economic development, etc)
