Drawing with Light
Home Learning:
Make a post to your blog describing the techniques used to create a photographic light drawing. Use as much subject specific language as possible. Evaluate your progress in today’s lesson.
Make a list of the equipment you might need to create this image. Feedback and discuss.

Modelling
Choose 2 volunteers
Demo use of equipment - camera, flash, light pen. Describe process for selecting a long exposure in manual mode
Describe relationship between ambient and flash light
Group/Pair Work
In pairs or small groups, experiment with available technology to create light drawings.

Independent Learning
Capture the images from the photoshoot. Organise in an Event in iPhoto and edit to correct exposure. Upload images to your Flickr account. Title and tag appropriately. Create a new Set entitled ‘Light Drawings’. Embed slideshow in blog and on relevant page in your ePortfolio.Describe the techniques you used to create the images and evaluate their quality using an appropriate tool e.g. Audioboo, Xtranormal
