ESADE PhD program in Management Scien-ces provides rigorous training for academic and research careers in management. It enables our graduates to become leaders in management research and education in their respective fields. The Master of Research in

Management Sciences (MRes) is the stan-dard path to transfer to the PhD and com-prises all the core courses necessary for the PhD. The MRes is considered as the founda-tional coursework for the PhD. Transfer from the MRes to the PhD is contingent upon the results of the qualifying examinations and matching between the research lines pur-sued at ESADE and the research interests of the candidate.

The MRes and PhD Commission assess applications in accordance with three crite-ria: academic record of the candidate, the re-search skills demonstrated during the MRes and the affinities between the candidate and ESADE’s lines of research.
