BRAND GUIDLINES This is crucial in making sure that the audience are able to identify and connect with the artist or brand. The guidelines are essentially a set of rules which enables many people in different places around the world to see how your brand works which can be seen through posters to adverts. It is very important to keep a running theme and be consistent with your brand to make it noticeable therefore following a certain vibe throughout for example through use of colours.

LOGO A logo is useful as it allows the audience to instantly recognise the artist on a visual level. For mine I have chosen a very simple font which would appeal to both genders. The two colours which will be used for this font are black and white, and this will change depending on the background colour eg light background would have a black font so it is able to stand out.

COLOUR Colour within brand guidelines is extremely important as it sets the tone for who the artist is or what genre of music they are involved in. It is also important that colour is consistent throughout, allowing my video, digipak and advert to all relate to one and other. I want the colours to stand out but at the same time match and fit well to create a good visual look.
