1. X is one of the five major vows prescribed for

the śrāvakā (layman) and ascetics in Jainism. For lay Jains who are married, the virtue of X requires remaining sexually faithful to one's chosen partner. For lay Jains who are unmarried, chaste living requires them to avoid sex before marriage. Uttam X (Supreme chastity) is one of the ten excellencies of a Digambara monk. X is mentioned as one of the das dharma (ten virtues) in ancient Jain texts like Tattvarthasutra, Sarvārthasiddhi and Puruşārthasiddhyupāya.

X is also a 1968 Indian Super-hit movie starring Shammi Kapoor.

X has its origins as a commercial slogan phrased in 1998 at JWT by Anuja Chauhan, by fusing Hindusthani and English words together. X soon gained mass popularity, and became a battle slogan and rallying cry, first used by Capt. Vikram Batra, an officer of the Indian Army, during the 1999 Kargil War after which the slogan gained enormous popularity though people didn’t know about Batra. Captain Batra who was killed during the war cried out these words and so it became a mantra before every battle thereafter in the war. Id the slogan.

6. Apasmāra was a dwarf who represented

ignorance and epilepsy. He is also known as Muyalaka or Muyalakan. In order to preserve knowledge in the world, Apasmāra could not be killed; to do so would throw out the balance of knowledge and ignorance, as to kill Apasmāra would mean attaining knowledge without effort, dedication and hard work. Consequently, this would lead to the devaluing of knowledge in all forms. Where have we seen and ‘ignored’ Apasmara?

Hence, a practice called ‘Coulter throw’ was started to strengthen ones arms which got it’s current name X after some time though the sport doesn’t exactly justify the current name
