Black History Month is a time when we celebrate the accomplishments of African Americans. There are many African Americans that have made huge accomplishments to our society. Begin to think about some of these people.
Who is your role model?
Overview
• All students are required to complete a Black History Project.
• Your project will cover the life of an African American that has made significant contributions to society
• You will use a poster board to display to your one-page report an pictures of the famous African American
History
• Make a timeline of the important historical events

Interesting Facts
It is always fun to list interesting facts about a person. You may want to include these facts in your report. For example, if the person likes to ride horses or swim in their spare time.

Make sure you choose leaders. Leaders can be defined as people who not only try to better themselves but share their knowledge with others.
