RULES OF A SECRETARY

A SECRETARY SHOULD BE

• EFFICIENT, DISCREET AND RESPECTFUL

• YOU SHOULD DRESS WELL AND, AS FAR AS POSSIBLE, BE NICE, AND WHY NOT LOOK ATTRACTIVE.

• YOU SHOULD AVOID CHANGING TOO FLASHY OR EXTRAVAGANT.

• YOU SHOULD KEEP A PROPER MAKEUP AND HAIR.

• MUST BE FRIENDLY BUT IMPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH YOUR BOSS.

• MUST GET ALONG WITH YOUR CO-WORKERS, BUT WITHOUT HAVING TOO MUCH PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS THAT CAN LEAD TO MISINTERPRETATIONS HAVE.

• MUST BE DISCREET AND PRUDENT, AND NOT REVEAL CONVERSATIONS OR OTHER INFORMATION YOU CAN LISTEN TO THE VARIOUS MEETINGS OR CONVERSATIONS IN WHICH IT IS PRESENT.

GOLDEN RULES OF GOOD SECRETARY

• HONESTY AND ETHICS: AS A CHANNEL OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE HEADS OF THE COMPANY, HAVE ACCESS TO CONFIDENTIAL DOCUMENTS.

• SPIRIT OF SERVICE: AS SECRETARY, HAS BEEN HIRED TO "HELP OUT“, AND LIGHTEN THE WORK OF HIS SUPERIORS. THEREFORE, YOU SHOULD TRY TO BE HELPFUL AT ALL TIMES.

• ABILITY TO LISTEN AND COMMUNICATE: LOCKED IN THEIR OFFICES, THE HEADS DO NOT USUALLY HAVE TIME TO CONNECT WITH THE CONCERNS OF THEIR WORKERS AND CUSTOMERS. THE SECRETARY TURNS INTO A KIND OF SUGGESTION BOX THAT INCLUDES PERSONAL OR COMPLAINTS FROM CUSTOMERS, FOR, WITH TIME AND TOUCH, FORWARD IT TO HIS SUPERIORS.

• INITIATIVE: SECRETARY MUST TAKE THE INITIATIVE AT ALL TIMES AND NOT WAIT IDLY BY THE ORDERS OF HIS BOSS

RESPECT AND CONSIDERATION PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE VICINITY OF THE SECRETARY OF SUCCESS.

• THE LABEL IS BASED ON THE RULES OF DECORUM THAT GUIDE AND GOVERN HUMAN BEHAVIOR.

• THE PROTOCOL PREVIOUSLY UNDERSTOOD ONLY AS PART OF THE OFFICIAL, CEREMONIAL AND DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS.

• THE PROTOCOL IS THE ETIQUETTE IN PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS IN A GLOBALIZED WORLD, MODERN TECHNOLOGY IN WHICH WE LIVE TODAY.

• PROTOCOL IMPROVES THE BUSINESS IS NOT ONLY BETWEEN THE COMPANY AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS BUT ALSO WITHIN IT, IMPROVING PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS AND COWORKERS.

ALL FUNCTIONS OF THE SECRETARY THE TREATMENT AND PERFORMANCE WILL BE THE SAME AS EDUCATION IS CONCERNED:

• GREET EVERYONE IN YOUR ENVIRONMENT, BUT WITH "GOOD MORNING OR GOOD AFTERNOON" BUT NOT "GOOD" AS CLAIMED BY THE PLAIN-CALLED "MODERNITY.“

• SAY "SIR" OR "MA'AM" AFTER GREETING OR ADDRESSING A CUSTOMER, AS APPLICABLE.

• TRY TO "YOU" TO ALL THE PEOPLE AROUND THEM BUT THEY ARE YOUNG, ESPECIALLY IF THE BOSS IS YOUNG AND HANDSOME FORTIORI.

• DO NOT TRY TO "YOUR" CUSTOMERS WAIT YOUR PERMISSION.

• DO NOT CHEW GUM LET ALONE MAKE BALLOONS IN FRONT OF OTHERS.

• DO NOT KISS CUSTOMERS, BOSS OR COWORKERS. SIMPLY GREET WITH POSITIVE ENERGY AND GOOD HUMOR.

• DO NOT SMOKE, EAT OR DRINK, NO TOUCHING UP HER MAKEUP IN PUBLIC.

• ARRIVE AT YOUR CENTER ARRANGED WORK AND GOOD PERSONAL HYGIENE.
