Getting to know

Ms. Lambert

• I grew up in Chesterfield.

• This is my 9th

year of

teaching but 2nd

year at

EDMS.

• I have 3 nieces & 1 nephew:

Kirstyn (10), Abby (8), Lilly

(5), and Brantley (1)

• I have 4 siblings: 1 brother

& 3 sisters, all younger.

• I like to read, do

photography, and work with

technology.

EXPECTATIONS

• Wait for your turn to speak.

• Arrive to class on time with all

materials and assignments.

• Follow instructions and work without

disturbing others.

• Complete all work with excellence

and follow the Honor Code.

ENTERING THE

CLASSROOM

• Enter the room quietly and

orderly.

• Sharpen pencils if needed.

• Borrow supplies if you came

unprepared.

• Get out homework.

• Start working on warm-up.

INSTRUCTION

• Stay seated unless given

permission.

• Have MD and paper ready for

notes and examples.

• Focus and make an honest effort

to understand.

• Listen carefully and follow

directions

• Ask good questions at an

appropriate time.

• Don’t pack up until the

teacher tells you to do so.

• Pick up trash and straighten

desks.

• Push in your chair.

• Walk QUIETLY to your next

class.

EXPECTATIONS

• Be aware of your voice level, use

respectful language, and follow staff

directions.

• Walk on the right side of the hallway.

• Walk directly to your destination and

respect personal space.

• Stay in your area and carry a(n)

agenda/tracker during class time.

CAFETERIA

EXPECTATIONS

• Keep your hands to yourself and

speak in a respectful manner.

• Wait your turn in line.

• Stay seated in your assigned zone

until dismissed.

• Throw away all of your trash.

SCHOOL PROCEDURES

• No electronics in class (unless under

supervision of teacher for a project

/work only).

• No food in class. Water in a closed

container only.

• No late work is accepted.

• Regular assignments on Edmodo.

Students should log on daily.

SCHOOL PROCEDURES

• Students should have a book to read

with them at all times.

• SOAR time is used for the following:

• 1. Class Meetings

• 2. Silent Reading/Read –Alouds

• 3. Remediation/Extra Help, and

• 4. Team Building/Community Service

Learning.

• Regular updating of Edline (every 2

weeks) around the 1st and 15th of the

month.

• Follow CCPS and EDMS Student Code

of Conduct.

• Uphold CCPS Core Values: Respect,

Responsibility.
