AR AND HEALTHCARE EDUCATION• Augmentoidun reality visual displays are more advanced than the auditory (voice), tactile

(haptic), or olfactory (smell) and taste based displays that are almost unheard of.

• Tactile displays are well known and has been used in medical research, especially in surgery and dentistry (Moog, 2013). In this case, the user can feel through the computer what it feels like to keep such as a dental drill in hand.

• Tactile devices and applications become more familiar, and their use in education provide new opportunities for learning experiences such as smart gloves.

• Sheffield Hallam University has been a pioneer in the reality of augmentoidun usea in british higher education
