Question 1 – Are you Male or Female?

We wanted to ask this question, as it would help us understand what gender would most want to watch our film. 9 people we asked were male, and 3 people were female, meaning that our survey was slightly biased and may not be completely reliable.

Question 2 – How old are you?

We decided to ask this question, as we wanted to know if people in our targeted age group would be interested in the film, or if we had aimed for the wrong age group.Out of the 12 people we asked, 6 of them were aged between 15 and 20, 4 were aged between 31 and 40, and 2 were aged 41 to 50.

Question 3 – Do you enjoy watching psychological thrillers? This was a key question, as our film is a psychological thriller, so we needed to know if people were interested in them generally before we asked them if they were interested in our film.5 people answered yes, 1 person answered sometimes, 3 people said not particularly, and 2 people answered no.It would have been better if less people were not interested.

Question 4 – How often do you watch psychological thrillers? We asked this to support the previous question, as we needed to know how interested people were in the genre.2 people said they watched a psychological thriller at least once a week. 4 people answered at least once a month. Another 4 people answered rarely, and a final 2 people said they never watch psychological thrillers. This was a fairly decent result, although it would have been better if less people never watched psychological thriller.

Question 5 – Do you think our storyboard looks professional? We asked this because we needed to know if our storyboard looked professional and if it intrigued people into knowing what our film is.

3 people said yes, 8 people said sort of, and 1 person said no. However, most of the people we asked were our friends, which meant that they probably avoided saying no, as it would be impolite, so they opted with sort of. Therefore, this question may not be totally reliable.

Question 6 - Would you watch our film after looking at our storyboard?

This question was essential, as we needed to know if people wanted to watch our film, which would give us an idea of its general quality. In addition to this, this would be the most important question, if this was a real, blockbuster film, as we would need to know how many people would want to watch it, before we waste time and money making it for nobody to watch it.6 people answered yes, 5 people answered maybe, and 1 person answered no. Again, the people may have just wanted to be polite, when in actual fact, they meant to answer no, making our results not 100% reliable.
