Each ID card has an RFID transponder that contains a unique personal number bound to the cardholder, used to determine his/her eligibility for access to particular places. The information is linked to SAP system; thus, it is always synchronized real- time and relevant. With the contactless ID card the system ensures that when required, only valid students and personnel are allowed into the campus.

The Universal ID Card is linked to the library account of each card holder. Students, faculty, and staff can use the exact same card for access and other services to borrow books. Soon, the books will also have RFID tags, and therefore self-service book borrowing with the contactless cards will be available for AUCA community.

With the Universal ID Card and electronic service desk queuing application, services at AUCA become systematized and ordered letting clients (student, faculty, and staff) keep track of their requests and their service turn. Simply wave your card at the terminal, enter your request, and get your ticket, which can be either in the form of an SMS or an email to your auca registered email.

In addition to not needing to carry cash and wait for your change at the canteens, the cashless initiative enforced at AUCA is aimed at getting rid of any form or perception of corruption.With the Universal ID Card, each transaction is transparent, registered, and checked. Moreover, there is no need to carry unnecessary amounts of cash in the campus, reducing thus the occurrence of theft (as experienced in the old campus)

Once you are accepted to the university, you are part of the AUCA open community that has links worldwide. The Universal ID Card was introduced to support and encourage an idea of AUCA open community with SAP being the main provisioning and accounting system.

AUCA went further to support the concept of mobile learning with an innovative solution: to provide the AUCA community with ubiquitous 4G LTE connection allowing them to be online everywhere where it is supported in Kyrgyzstan.

AUCA always has been and is promoting transparent and open society one of the values of which is to eliminate bribery, corruption, and any intention or temptation to take an advantage of the cash flow related to work or responsibility.

Flexibility is one of the advantages of studying at AUCA. Being anywhere at the campus, anytime, students will be able to send their files for printing and copying, and still be sure that no one will touch their files until they come to the printer on their own with their UID cards

In addition, the UIDC provides its holder with advantages wherever he/she goes by offering discounts from the business of AUCA graduates and other interested places while using the card for the purchases.

• 50% discount for USB modems from SaimaTelecom

Following up on our cashless strategy and in partnership with INTEGRA EG, AUCA presents electronic system of voting within the AUCA Community using UIDC as means of identity, thus showcasing the advantages of open and transparent voting.

Printing and copying will soon be available at a “wave”. No mess of various files and confusion, as the files will be printed only by identifying you through your card and can wait in the memory of the printer a long as needed until you come personally

AUCA shuttle bus services will be upgraded soon. UID cards will be linked to the bus services letting card holders identify themselves by simply waving their cards. Additionally, geo-location services will allow real time tracking and positioning of the transportation.

In a huge campus it is not always easy to find your professor, class, friends, and group mates. Geo-location services will be a solution for efficient use of time and space at AUCA. The UID card will provide information about location of classes, people, sessions, and much more.

Security of AUCA’s community is a primary concern of the OCIO. Access to the dormitory will soon be linked to your UID card which will ensure that only valid people get access to the dorms.

In the future, we plan to also link services such as laundry to the UID cards to make the life more comfortable to the residents of AUCA’s dormitory.
