PossessionI choose this genre because of an idea i had

about a possessed item. I think it will be hard to create a convincing MES for this ots. However if that can be achieved, i think it will be easy to do the rest.

Possession Even though i have chosen Possession as a

subgenre, i am going to focus on two of its subgenres “Dolls Demon.”

Some of the main convections with these films are that the dolls do small sutle movements which the protagonist cant se. These movements can be eyes blinking, or even turning around.

For the demon part i want to use few convections such as jump scares, deep dark voice, paranormal activity, nightmares (sleepless).

What will happen A person laying in a forest with blood on his face. Then starts a

flashback. he buys a suitcase not knowing what's inside on a remote shop from an

old guy Finds a bunch of useless “junk” and an old doll which is in peaces with a

note attached to it saying “do not fix!” Fixes it because he wants to sell it Places it on the table in the room he is in and falls asleep. The doll blinks and turns around A demon is released out of it Wakes up with the doll being gone Thinks he left it in the workshop so he goes there to check The dolls is there, he goes to pick it up The demon jumps out of the doll possessing him. Opens his eyes in teh forest with a gasp

Meeting the concetionsThe dolls is possessed and moves (opens

eyes, turns around)The demon posses the doll and leaves it when

it is assembled.The demon then possesses the person who

assembled the doll.

Explaining ideaThe idea used is original, however it uses

clichés from the genre to create tension and draw in the audience. The idea is focused on the fact that there are few possession OTS made with dolls. The unique part will be the execution, making the audience wanting to see what happens next. It is easily achievable by making an object do paranormal activity, to make leave the audience wondering what causes it.

Targets to make it effectiveThe main objective is to create a convincing

OTS and use suitable props. That will help crating a convincing atmosphere for the OTS.

Anther objective i have is to create convincing editing and match on action when the character moves.

InspirationI got inspiration to make an OTS about a

creepy moving dolls based on this trailer of the film “The boy”
