Try to get the learners to aspire to highest possible grades by doing some value added activities in induction intergroup competitions reward incentive schemes, higher grades mean better career prospects.

 

We are all inspirational that's why we became teachers It is easy to become downhearted and overloaded with paperwork etc. But I believe if we try to remain inspired and remember why we chose this vocation that can be infectious and will catch on with students. Try just one new technique this week with a group.

Motivation is catching and makes the day better even smiling is motivating Again if  you are motivated your learners will be motivated. Try an activity completely unrelated to the curriculum e.g. a practical session. Book the Sports Hall for a team building activity you may be surprised how the group react 99.9% its a positive response.
