What is Design?• Design is a creative problem-solving

process and involves the study of both design practice and design theory.

• The design process involves being able to identify problems, planning, organization, research, originality, abstract, experimentation, investigation and critical reflection.

• Design adds value to products through creating purpose to it, which are useful and have visual value

Topic 3 : is the Design Theory that is the theoretical phase of the subject and consist of an examination of design literacy, the history of design, design in a socio cultural/environmental and workable environment, and design in a business situation (to be integrated with topic 1, Process)

self-expression and offers learners a way to take part meaningfully

Topic 1: This topic has to do with Conceptualising through the development, growth and understanding of creative ideas

Topic 2: The Making of creative artworks, organization of process and appearance, keeping to a safe method

Topic 3: Then there is the Theoretical side: Visual culture studies that emphasis on visual literacy. In other words Art History
