THE PYGMY MONKEY

The pygmy monkey belongs to the mammal family.

It has got bones because it is vertebrate.

It has got warm blood.

It is omnivorous because it eats everything: meat, plants,

grass, nuts, fish…

It doesn’t lay eggs.

It’s a very little animal. (It’s about 8 cm. long. It is about 15 cm. tall. It weighs 0’12 kg.)

It’s wild and noisy.

It can be dangerous sometimes.

It has got a tail, beautiful fur and a funny face, but is dangerous.

It hasn’t got poison.

It can bite, climb trees and crawl.

It lives in the jungle or in South America.
