Operations Teaching Research
Structures and Processes - New entity drawing from faculty staff, to lead sustainability initiative (to overcome inherent silos/ resistance) - Tying budget and performance appraisal with sustainability
Funding - External eg EU Horizon 2020 as incentive to promote interdisciplinary research within university - Not to be adverse to university funding in seeding community projects (directly or through Non-Profit Organizations)

Collaboration within the University
University as Convenor -AIM Day (Uppsala Univ) to solve sustainability problems, involving private sector coys and univ researchers. Seed funding of selected projects (by univ) - Involving students from different univs, via online exchange to find solutions on global environmental issues
Finding a Common Goal / Creating Sense of Urgency - Think big, go for grand challenges (consortium of ISCN univs) - Universities collaborating with each other as network
