biomarker for diabetes mellitus. Dr. Ansari's visit was supported by DST and the Indian National Science Academy.

Dr. Ansari's paper aimed at the identification of glucose modified Iysine-rich protein (Amadori IgG) in type 2 diabetes patients with complications of heart, eyes and kidney. Dr. Ansari said that modified protein might serve as a diagnostic biomarker for the disease and could help in the development of a targeted drug for the disease therapy.

Dr. Ansari has the honour of the publication of his research paper on diagnostic biomakers for diabetes mellitus (both type 1 & 2) in an American journal "Human Immunology". He has also presented his papers at five national and international conferences.

3 Indispensable Tools To Make Research Work On Web, A BreezeWhen searching for in depth information about a topic, referencing the web is of utmost importance. We are aware of the bookmarking feature of the browsers, but there is more that you can do instead of just book marking the pages. There are tools that specifically highlight and store portion of web page that interests you. Some also provide an editor to edit the topic to suit your needs, store them on-line and share it with people.

Wired Marker is a Firefox plug-in that lets you highlight the required lines of text and images on a certain web page, just as you do with a highlighter pen on your notebooks.

The following figure shows a highlighted portion of a web page. This can be retrieved any time, whenever you log on to the net.

Along with this it also support an export feature where all the highlighted clips can be exported to a single file.

Get it From Here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6219

Clipmarks has a super easy to use interface. It automatically guesses the paragraphs and pictures just when you place the cursor over a certain piece of text.

The limitation however in this is that each clip can only be of thousand characters. For more characters you have to opt for a new clip.

Evernote is yet another versatile Firefox plug-in to do the same job. It does not have the limitation on text per clip, like clipmarks but it poses a limitation on amount of space used per month to 40 MB for free users. For students I think it is more than enough.

This can make your research work on web organized and less taxing than bookmarking entire pages. As all are free I suggest it to use in combination to gain maximum advantage. If the MB limit is crossed in Evernote, start with clipmarks.
