A personal timeline of educational technology

Overview

My name is Aja SuehiroI started school in 1992 in Makawao,

Maui.I graduated from high school in 2006

in Pukalani, Maui.I first went to college at University of

Hawaii Manoa in 2006.When I finish my degree, I hope to

become an awesome math teacher.

My definition of educational technology

Educational technology is the use of technological resources to support the learning process.

A vivid technology learning experience

In high school, we had a media class that put on our school show called “Na alii Vision”

It was a really good production, our school loved it

I always wished I took that class

The SMART Board interactive whiteboard It seems like the kids love it and it would

be a big help

My vision of the classroom of the future

I would want to see my math class learn from a technological resource and use them in daily work or projects.

A challenge for teaching

There isn’t enough funding for resources

Teachers and/or students do not know how to use technology
