Appendix 1

All partners to come prepared with a short powerpoint about their school.

All partners bring details for creation of contact database, school, school principal, co-ordinator and an alternative coordinator

All Partners bring selection of food, items or pictures of traditional toys, costumes for showcasing their country in the European Marketplace.

All partners to come prepared with a copy of their school calendar, to discuss mobilities.

All partners to bring 3 options for project logo. These can be in digital format or a picture which we can scan at the meeting

Appendix 2

According to our Application the following tasks have been allocated

Creating an international folk tales book: Greece

Converting a tale into a play script and using drama techniques to act it out in a mini-production: Ireland

Creating google surveys: Romania Creating Powepoint Presentations of the tales

by using the paintings done by students by English subtitles: Poland

An illustrated book of a new folk tale created by the students of 7 partner countries: Italy

A book of paintings done by children: Ireland A calendar of 2016-2017 with 12 pictures

created by students related to our fairy tales: GREECE

A CD with each country's presentations in English of a famous fairy tale :Turkey

Please note There is currently no-one assigned

to organising our blog/website organising the international dictionary organising bookmark competition

(or this can be done at school level)

Ireland and Greece have been allocated 2 tasks(However the first Irish task is being done by all schools)

Appendix 3 - Activities as detailed in our applicationWe prepared a detailed project activities plan. During our first meeting we will review the project activities calendar:

A1: Introducing the project to the students and all the staff of our schools by ppt presentations in general A2:Creating a “project corner” in the classrooms, in the staff – room and in the hall of the school, containing information and pictures about activities, project meetings and final products. This corners will be keep up to date every monthA3:Making a survey at school (both with students and their families) on which folk tales should be chosen in each partner country .A4: Students' video interview with their grandparents and the other elders in their town about folk tales A5:Meetings with students(every 3 months)A6:Updating Social Media tools A7:Setting up a European Marketplace in which there will be concrete things to show the culture of each country e.g. traditional toys and clothes, foods etc ( in transnational meetings)A8:Project partners' making presentations with images from the country that was visited (after each transnational meeting)A9:Creating a web page or a blog which will contain information about the activities and final products of each yearA10: Students competition to create the project logo. A11:Workshop with parents( every 5 months)A12:Choosing a project logo A13: Creating an international dictionary of phrases to be compiled in all the partner languagesA14:Setting up a European Marketplace in transnational meetings at host schoolsA15:Teacher meetings at schools.(every 3 months)A16. 1 month after each LTT activities a workshop will be held with other colleagues.A17: Visiting the historical places in each country where some folk tales come from by the students of that country (if possible) A18:Recording elders at school while they are telling folk tales and sharing them with other partner schools via facebook group and people all around the world via youtube (each year) (in the Countries where this is allowed)A19: A fairy tale booklet (both in mother tongue and in English) with students' illustrations (first part of the year) and ppt presentation both in Mother toungue and in English to show the local fairy tale to the Partner school. (second part of the year) (once a year)A20:A competition will be held in each partner school about designing a bookmark to celebrate the project. They will be shared between each school and helped the children to feel part of the project . The winner of this competition in each country will be given an award.

A21: Storytelling week will be organized by each school at the end of the each school year. A22:Fairy tale calendar :A product made of children photos and their illustrations based on folklore fairy tales from each partner country A23: A European Fairy Tales book containing all the fairy tales booklet the students exchanged during the project.A24: Exchanging Xmas/new year cards (once a year) A25: Evaluation: create a common questionnaireA26: Evaluation: give the questionnaire to students/teachers/families and compare the results (one questionnaire at the beginning of the project, one during the second year, one at the end of the third year)A27: Working on the fairy tales of the partner countries in order to find differences and similarities (second part of each year of the project)A 28: dissemination: Uploading the products and works made by the students to the web sites of the schools and to the twinspaceA 29: Workshops and drama lessons with elderly participants, as invited guests and/or narrators. Literacy lessons with Grandparents as storytellers
