PACS and implemented by Saba Media Organization (SMO) in Kabul,

Kandahar, Hirat, Nangarhar, Balkh, Ghazni, Paktya, Logar, Maidan-

Wardak, Faryab, Parwan, Kapisa, Panjshir, Farah, Kunduz, Baghlan,

Uruzgan, Nimroz, Zabul and Hilmand provinces/cities through Radio Nawa

and Kabul, Kandahar, Hirat, Mazar-e-Sharif, Jalal Abad and Tarinkot cities

through Saba TV.

A group of people in a Human Rights training session conducted by Afghanistan National

Reconstruction Coordination (ANCC). As a part of

Counterpart International’s Initiative to Promote Afghan

Civil Society (I-PACS), the Afghanistan Center for

Training and Development provides funding and

assistance to civil society organizations (CSO) like the

ANCC in Tarinkot capital, Chora and Dehrawot distric

of Uruzgan province.



Another Human Rights training session conducted by Afghanistan National Reconstruction Coordination (ANCC) in coordination with one of Counterpart’s key partners, Afghanistan Center for Training

and Development (ACTD).



Sangeeta Sadaaf speaks as a member of the Foundation for Help and Welfare of Afghan Women, a civil society organization in Jawzjan province. She explains the benefits of fundraising training conducted by Counterpart’s

Intermediary Service Organizations (ISOs) and Civil Society Support Center (CSSC) staff. Counterpart chose 2 ISOs and 8 CSSCs as key partners in their

Initiative to Promote Afghan Civil Society.

Girls celebrate graduation from the English language and computer skills course led by Kandahar Health and Development Organization (KHDO) in Kandahar

province. KHDO is a target civil society organization and Counterpart International and its key partner, Afghanistan Center for Training and

Development (ACTD).

training is conducted through Basic Education and Employable Skill Training (BEST), a key I-PACS

partner in Ghazni province.



Deaf child in Herat Province of Afghanistan signs “I love you.” She is just one of the beneficiaries of the Ansari Hearing Impaired Association’s (AHIA) educational training

programs. The AHIA is a target civil society organization of Women Activities and Social Services Association (WASSA), a key partner of Counterpart’s I-PACS.
