Research on Adverts The image on the advert of Ed Sheeran has been used to display who the album is obviously featuring. The image will have been taken specifically for this particular advert, and the images will not be copyrighted. The overall theme colour chosen for the advert is orange, and we can obviously see this through the background colours. The white writing is used for the main parts of the advert to point out the more important features, like the name of the album and how you can listen to the songs. Normally the advert will include the date it is out, and we, as the audience are able to get ready to buy the album. But this advert tells us that the album is already out and is available to buy. This advert does not contain a lot of information along with the artwork about tours, reviews and ratings, and the record label logo. This is odd, as these are some of the main features we would expect to see on an average advert like this. This might not be included due to Ed Sheeran being well known, therefore people should already know what his record label is. The advert includes where people are able to buy and listen to the song. The places where people can find this song to buy is; Itunes, Amazon, HMV, Play and Tesco. By including this it will be increasing the sale prices and the total income shop, the company and Ed Sheeran will all be gaining. This is another example of an advert of Ed Sheeran’s.
