Logging in to the Registration SystemNavigate to http://sis.rpi.eduEnter your RIN as your User ID (Your RIN is in your acceptance letter, on the graduate enrollment checklist)Your first time using the system, use the default password which is your birthdate in ddmmyy formatie September 19,1984 is 091984You first time using this system, you will be asked to agree to our terms of usage

Login to SISAfter Login, you will asked to choose a new PIN and to agree to the Terms of Usage

Clear Your Financial Agreement Hold

From Student Menu1- Click on Financial Responsibility Agreement2 Select current term3 Click on Agree This must be done every semester

Register for Courses:Use Either the Class Search or Register, Add or Drop FunctionsClass Search Function Tips Make sure to select the Hartford Campus Once you have located your class, register by clicking on the open box in the first column next to your preferred class.Next, click the Register button on the lower left hand corner other the pageOnce you have registered for a course using Class Search, the Register Add/Drop page will appear. If you successfully registered for the class, the course will appear under the Current Schedule.

Register, Add or Drop Function TipsUse this function to register directly using a courses reference number (CRN number). This is a 5 digit number unique to each course. CRNs can be located on the Hartford Class Hour Schedule . Enter your CRN into the box or boxes at the bottom of the screen, and click Submit Changes, your page will refreshA course can be dropped by highlighting the Drop via Web box under your current schedule on the Register Add/Drop page, Click the Submit Change. The page will refresh and the change can be viewed.

Class SearchUsing the class search function to register

Click on Class Search from Student Menu

Select current term, click submit

Class Search ResultsIf there is a C in the first column instead of an open box, the section is closed

To register for a section:Click on an open box and click register. You will be taken to the Register Add/Drop page

To register for a section: Click on an open box and click register. You will be directed to the Register Add/Drop Page.

To register for a section: Click on an open box and click register. You will directed to the Register Add/Drop page. A C in the first column indicates a closed section.

Check under Current Schedule to see if you successfully registered. Made a mistake and need to drop a course? Click on the drop down box, highlight Drop Via Web. Click Submit Changes.
