Scope of the subcomponent

• Lower Secondary Student Grant Program

(LSSGP)

- 1,638 poor, ethnic,disadvantaged

beneficiaries

** 50% at least are girls

• Education Development Grants Program

(EDGP)

- 96 schools in poor and rural

areas

Allowable expenses for the EDGP

- Consumable items for teaching

Proposed flow of Education Development fund
