Adaptive e-LearningAn example of an individualized e-Learning course created with easygenerator
Adaptive e-Learning with easygenerator
• With easygenerator it is possible to create courses that will guide the learner to those parts of a course that he doesn’t know yet.
• The key elements in this are:– Learning objectives– A pre-assessment– Study advice– Guided table of contents
This presentation will show you how this works for a learner
Courses build around objectives
In the dynamic table of contents there is a button
‘Objectives’.
Courses build around objectives
It will bring up the adaptive dashboard. That shows:
Courses build around objectives
The learning objectives
Courses build around objectives
The progress per learning objectives
Courses build around objectives
The overall progress of the course, based on objectives
Start with a pre-assessment
Based on a series of questions ….
Start with a pre-assessment
It is determined what you already know ….
Study advice
Based on the outcome a study advice is created, guiding the
learner to the parts of the course he doesn’t know yet
Progress per objective
And the objective dashboard now shows the progress per
objective
Progress per objective
And the overall progress
Progress per objective
And if you click on a specific objective
Progress per objective
It will show all related questions and information
pages
Progress per objective
In this case all marked as done, because the objective was
reached.
Progress per objective
If you click on an objective that you haven’t scored a 100% on..
New icons will appear in the table of contents
Progress per objective
The light bulb indicates that there are subjects in a folder you need to pay attention to
Progress per objective
A question mark represents a question that you didn’t answer or didn’t answer
correct
Progress per objective
Progress per objective
An checkmark for a correct answered question or a
information page you don’t have to read
Progress per objective
An information sign represent a content page with information
that you don’t know yet
Progress per objective
So, read the information pages, answer the questions and you are done for this objective. Saving you valuable time.
And the result is based on the learning objectives instead of meaningless page
progress.
