WHAT ARE THEY?
The two most widely used college admissions tests
Tests what students know and how well they can apply that knowledge

WHO SHOULD TAKE THEM?
Before registering, consider your college plans. Some community colleges, technical
schools, and others DO NOT require the SAT or ACT. Instead they may require some other type of admission test which you would set up through the college itself

Typically, you can find this information on the Admissions section of the college’s website THE SAT & ACT

WHEN SHOULD I TAKE THEM?
1st take during the spring of their junior
year & again during the fall of their senior year
A year to a year and a half before you plan on
entering college.
