This is almost always related to pop-up settings – you need to enable pop-ups on your browser.

Then click on ‘open in a new tab’ to view the eBook.

This is usually down to a conflict between your browser settings and Adobe reader.

If you are using a recent version of Firefox, you might find that the instructions are slightly out-of-date – go to the Firefox menu, then Preferences, then Applications tab and select ‘preview in Firefox’ from the drop-down menu.
