1. Distribution and WarehousingHaving a distributor is the crucial factor to getting your printed title into bookshops from high street chains to the independents. It is also essential to have your title stored in a warehouse, where it will be secure and kept in the best physical condition.

Limehouse Books is distributed by Turnaround in the UK and EU, and SCB in USA and Canada. This has you covered for the major English speaking territories. We also have digital distribution through over 40 e-tailers including Amazon, through our partnership with Faber and Faber.

This will ensure that you have worldwide distribution without having to sign additional contracts.

2. Sales representationAs an individual it is one of the hardest tasks to get a book into a single shop, let alone a national chain.

Turnaround and SCB have a team of sales representatives who will be selling your title to trade customers from Amazon to Barnes and Noble and Waterstones. This gives you the best opportunity for your book to reach the widest audience possible.

3. Design and Production StandardsWe pride ourselves on our commitment to original cover design and high standards of production in our books. We are one of the few publishing houses that produce a bespoke text design for each title, rather than outsourcing to a typesetter. We work with a number of talented and experienced designers.

Our aim is to approach to each project individually, producing a cover that captures the sense of the work, whilst ensuring that it will reach its target market.

4. Transparency on PricingFor any project we will give you a fully itemised estimate, which includes supporting documents such as quotes from our suppliers.

Once your project is published, we will send you a report each month on sales and pay you the money your title has earned minus a small percentage to cover accounting fees.

There will be a contract to sign. All intellectual property rights will remain with the author.

5. A Truly Bespoke Service We don’t believe in offering set packages, rather our aim is to meet with each author, understand the project and then come back with the most cost effective means to reach success.
