Assignment: Your project must have each of the following:
• 1. Decide on a story, memory, or dream to portray.
• 2. Design a Border: create a design or pattern that goes around the entire outside edge of the painting/drawing.
• 3. Figurative Designs: recognizable figures such as people or animals.– Decide on what people or animals to include in the
painting/drawing.

• 4. Geometric Designs: shapes and patterns that represent something specific.– Decide on what shapes you can include that could
represent part of your story.
• 5. Dividing Lines create “feature blocks”, which create separate sections that represent different scenes of the story. The painting must be viewed as a whole to get the whole story. • Decide where to put these “feature blocks” in your project.
