In what way does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

  Camera work and editing • Crosscutting for suspense sequences• Faster cutting for violent action- we challenged this as we did not cut over the knife and blood scene • Hand help shots for chase scenes

making it a damaged teenager instead

Narratives • The supernatural haunting an individual /picture falling• Unfinished business with a villain coming back for revenge- challenges this by a mother coming back for revenge • unexplained events- picture falling

How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

• Blogging -polls

• Facebook – Feedback on film names (got feedback from different age groups)

• YouTube- feedback of trailer, looking (researching others trailers (teasers)

• Adobe premiere- in the construction

• Video editing software- in the constructing

• Photoshop- construction of magazine front cover

• Youtube- to find music - planning / researching

• Camcorder- when constructing teaser

Conclusion Throughout my journey in creating my teaser and ancillary tasks I have found it be a fun and enjoyable

experience, I have acquired many new skills which I feel I can take with me and use in the future.
