A REPORT ON AN

We were a group of 10 who visited Finland to attend an Innovation Camp for Educators & study the world’s most

successful education system. The camp was conducted by the KOULU EDCATION GROUP

Travel To Learn, India from the 17th to the 21

We all arrived a day prior to the start of the camp

Monday, 17th

We were met by Misa from Koulu at 9 am in the hotel lobby who walked us down to the X

TUESDAY 18th

October, 2016

We set out for Espoo after breakfast to visit the Jarvenpera School where we received

Principal & Staff. This middle school has a special focus on LUMA education, special needs education and students

with physical disabilities. This was a revelatory

exposed to various clubs, activities and day care programs which are an integral ancilla

in the evening we set out for the city of Turku by train which in itself was a great experience.

In the morning we visited the Nummenpaka

After a typical Finnish School lunch (a standard school lunch is provided by the Finnish government to all the schools

in each city) we left for another school visit

Technology plays a vital part in Finnish education and this morning we drove down to a leading school in Finland

which has adopted this method of teaching viz:

morning, post which certificates were handed out to all the participants by Satu
