For us a train journey is just a part of our day
But for them it’s theBeginning & end
introduction
By “them” we meant…in our presentation we tried to view life from their point of
view•Their basic problemes•Why they are important to us
•Children of railway•The probable way out
Our journey to see their story little closely
In our little survey , We saw their ART
Their ART of SURVIVAL
We saw their PASSION We saw their POTENTIAL
In a local train, they might be called as A Hawker, A Beggar, A sweeper…..But they too have a story
Behind every dayThere is a new beginning
Against all odds what makes themREAL FIGHTER
General problems•Reliance on monetized economy•Lack of accessibility to basic sevices
•Vulnerability to disease
•Environmental hazards
•Social fragmentation
There are millions in darkness
Why should we care??Hawkers economy constitutes the
“informal economy”
•This economy massively affect the global economy

•State Governments and the Municipal Authorities should enable Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
•Undertake periodic survey/census
Children of railway
Every
5 minutes a child arrives alone on a platform in India
Constrain to their bright future
•lack of proper guidance
•Bound to do labor jobs
•Improper implementation of Govt schemes

We believe in a world where no child ever has to live on the platform
