WHEN WILL WE TAKE THE ASPIRE TEST?

• On the 14th and the 15th, we will not have advisory. Everyone will report to their 1st period class (on those days only)
WHY DO WE NEED TO TAKE IT?
• The State of Wisconsin requires all 9th graders to take this test (remember the WKCE?)
• You will take 5 tests next week 9 (Fall), and 5 tests during the Spring
• What do you think the State of Wisconsin, MPS and Hamilton wants to see in the Spring (hint—scores going up or down?)
WHAT IS THE TEST GOING TO BE LIKE? WILL IT BE LIKE THE WKCE OR MAP?
• The Aspire is an online test. The WKCE was a paper and pencil test.
• Unlike the MAP test, all 5 tests have a time limit (see slide 2)
