Keys on Computer Keyboard, It's Functions and Proper Use and Handling of Keyboard

The computer keyboards are very light and easy to strike, giving your hands more convenience as you use them in typing letters, numbers and symbols.
It is the is a way to input letters or numbers into the different applications or programs.
Most of the computer keyboards have 101 keys.
Concepts /Ideas:
How do you input your documents on the computer?
To do it, we will need the computer’s physical keyboard to mirror the virtual one, which means you can comfortably use your actual keyboard to type the characters on our document.

Keys
These keys allow you to type letters, numbers and punctuation marks.
There are two modes that this key pad can be set to. Active if the Num Locks key (11) is tapped. The Num Locks light should be on when active (10).
When the light is off, this key pad is a duplicate of the arrow keys and react the same as described in 8 above.
Special note should be taken of the * / - + keys as they are mathematical symbols.

Used to move the insertion point (cursor) inside documents. Left - Right - Up - Down
Arrow Keys

This group of keys usually found at the right side of the keyboard, resembles the keys on a calculator.
When the Num Lock light is on, you can use the number keys (0 through 9) to enter numbers.
When the Num Lock is off, you can use these keys to move the cursor around the screen
To turn the light on or off, press the Num Lock key.
Numeric Keypad

These keys may be on the left-hand side of your keyboard or at the top above the numbers.
Each function key contains the letter "F" and a number.
Function keys perform different tasks, depending on the program being used.

Most often used to cancel commands, (menu and dialog box)
Press this key to return to the original instruction. You can press Esc to quit a task you are performing.
Escape Key

This key is used to indent the first line in a paragraph.
Primarily used to insert distance between text. It is also used as a movement key within Tables and Dialog boxes.
Tab Key

This key is used to lock into the uppercase alphabet mode. Press Caps Lock to change the case of all letters you type. Press the key again to return to the original case.
When this key is activated (tapped) the "Caps Lock" light goes on (10) and all the alphabet keys are typed in UPPER CASE. When active, if you hold the Shift key and tap a letter, the letter will be typed in lower case.

This key is used to enter uppercase characters. Press Shift in combination with another key to type an uppercase letter.
When used with arrow keys, the selecting feature is activated. Selecting text is necessary prior to making changes (i.e. Bold, Italic, etc.)

You can use the Ctrl or Alt key in combination with another key to perform a specific task.Ex: Ctrl and S to save a document
Ctrl and Z to undo the last actionCtrl and V to paste an object or text
Control Keys

2 keys, one for each hand. Primarily used to access commands listed in the menu bar.
Alt Keys or Modifier keys

This is a long bar beneath the letters used to insert a blank Space between words.
A computer knows when a word ends by its space. This key should not be used to insert distances between words. When a large amount of space is need, the Tab key should be used.
Space Bar

This key is used to remove or erase the character to the right of the cursor.
Delete (Del) Key

This key is used to remove or erase the character to the left of the cursor.
Backspace

This key les you move up one screenful of text instantly.
Page Up (PgUp) Key

This key moves down one screenfull of the document.
Page Down (Pgdn) Key

These keys are used for the mathematical operations such as:
addition (+) subtraction (-) multiplication (*) and division (/)
Mathematical or Operational Keys

This key is used to turn the overtype mode on or off. When this is off, the letters to the right of your cursor is typed over by whatever text you type in. When this is on, the letters to the right of your cursor move to the right to fit in the text that you type in.
To return to INSERT mode tap this key a second time.
Insert Key

These lights indicate whether the Num Lock, Scroll Lock or Caps Lock features are on or off.
Status Lights

These keys when pressed, the start menu will appear enabling the user to go to the programs installed in the computer.
Widows Keys

If pressed, amenu will pop-up enabling the user to choose from its selection of whatever the user is going to do of the file or item he selected.
An alternative to right-clicking of an item or file.
Menu Key

If pressed just once, it will capture the picture or what we see in our desktop. We should open the Paint program and hit the paste so that we will be able to see and use the picture that it captures.
Print Screen

It locks the scroll, disabling the user to move or view the whole document.
It disables the Page Up and Page Down keys.
Scroll Lock

It freezes the screen once pressed and press again to return to normal mode.
Pause
back
It consist the letters of the alphabet, punctuations, and other symbols in where the user will be able to encode his word documents. Of course, the user should save his work to enable him to view or print his documents in the later time.
