ProcessThis screen shot shows my first attempt of making the background for my video game. As you can see it’svery basic with minimal features. The tools I used were also very basic. The first tool I used was a pencil brush tool. This tool enabled me to fill my page full of different, vibrant colours. As you may have noticed there is a slight un even line where the grass meets the sky. This was caused because i found it hard to concentrate for long periods of times because my eyes would start to strain because of the amount of pressure I put on them in order to fill the different colours as accurately as possible.

ProcessThis screen shot shows a more accurate and slightly more detailed version of my first image seen on my video game. i have re coloured the first image In order to sort out the un even colour I had. As you can see I have added some text in order for my audience to see what my product is called on how to start the game. I have also added little swirls around the sun in order to make the sun stand out more and to also attract more children into playing my game

This screen shot shows my main character on its own. As you can see the screen shot is very pixelated do to do turning the character into a jpeg. The character is very simple and basic which was made by using the pencil brush tool. I have used different colours in order to try and give the cat more detail. I think that using the different colours has helped define the character festures.

ProcessThis screen shot shows the main character in my video. As you can see the character is very basic with room for mass improvement. Another thing you may have noticed is that my work so far is very bland and basic, this is because I found using Photoshop software very challenging to use. i used the same pencil brush tool with the brush size on 1 in order so that I could create the character very accurately.

This screenshot shows my second character. I decided to screenshot the character in Photoshop because when made into a jpeg in turned very pixelated like my previous character. As you can see this character is also very simple also created using the pencil brush tool. I also used several different colours in order to define the old lady’s features.

Processin this screen shot it shows my second character(old cat lady) in a violet and dark purple apron and dress. I decided that I wanted to have the old lady dressed with theses colors because I think that purple is a very calm and happy colour and children often think of their grandparents very calm and loving so by having a calm colour I think that it replicates what they think as an old woman.

ProcessThis screen shot shows an action shot of my video game. As you can see in the top left corner there is a score of points you have to get before you pass to level 2. on the bottom of the screen shot you can see the timeline where the animation side of things can come to life. In order for my video game to move properly I had to go into every individual shot and edit all content, this enabled for my game look professional and also very intriguing for my target audience.

Processthis screen shot shows what the frame looks like when you die in the game. When animating this I animated this so that each word enters at different times to add more effect to the game. I used the text tool to write the text needed and also used the pencil brush tool to paint the whole frame black. By having the background go a sudden black I think that it will shock the children and want to play again. The frame only lasts a few seconds the moves on to give you options to play again.

ProcessThis last screenshot shows the last part of my video game, giving you the option to play again with the original back so that the children playing the game will know straight away that the game has reset and is ready to play again.
