1st Udon Thani Jazz Music Festival @ UD Town
Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in the Northeast is associated with
Udon Thani Tourism Association and UD TOWN to organize an event, The
Weekday Trip in Isan. The Dutch Swing College Band, the world’s famous
jazz band from the Netherlands, is invited to perform the song for His Majesty
King Bhumibol Adulyadej for the 87th
birthday anniversary. Thus, we kindly
invite you, people in Udon Thani and from nearby provinces, to celebrate The
King’s Birthday with us on this November, 30th
at 7.00 p.m. at Soi 1, UD

Municipality, Chaiyaphum Chamber, the Federation
of Thai Industrial in Chaiyaphum and Chaiyaphum
Cycling Club supported by Tourism Authority of
Thailand (TAT) in Nakhon Ratchasima would like
to invite you to attend the Singha Cycling to Conquer the Stonehenge of
Thailand Festival on Sunday, November 23th
, 2014 from 08.00 a.m. onwards
in Chaiyaphum province.
Mr. Suharit Chanvananggul, director of Tourism Authority of Thailand
(TAT) in Nakhon Ratchasima, has revealed that many tourism activities
encourage people to travel. Therefore, the large area of Chaiyaphum province
providing a variety of tourism activities for every kind of tourist is the area for
this cycling competition. Moreover, the youth can be able to develop their
skills and sportsmanship together while they are travelling.
Singha Cycling competition encourages everybody to exercise and play
sports such as cycling. Furthermore, it promotes eco-tourism of Chaiyaphum
province, and the revenue from the event will be donated for new sport
equipment at schools in the disadvantaged urban area in Chaiyaphum province.
Singha Cycling to Conquer the Stonehenge of Thailand Festival on
Sunday, November 23th
, 2014 starts from 08.00 a.m. onwards at the monument
of Chao Phor Phraya Lae all the way long to Mor Hin Khao Chaiyaphum
Stonehenge of Thailand, Tha Hin Ngom, Mueang Chaiyaphum District,
Chaiyaphum with 42 kilometers distance. The competitors will cycle along 21
kilometers road, 11 kilometers down-ramp mountain road and 10 kilometers
up-ramp mountain road.
There are 2 types of the competition: road-bike cycling and mountain-
bike cycling. Only first 1,000 registered-cyclists will be allowed to participate
in the competition.
The winner award of both road-bike cycling and mountain cycling for
male cyclist is 5,000 baht with a trophy and a t-shirt. The 1st runner up will get
3,000 baht, and 2nd
runner up will get 2,000 baht. In addition, every male
cyclist ranked from 2nd to 10th will get a trophy.
The winner award of both road-bike cycling and mountain cycling for
female cyclist is 1,000 baht with a trophy and a t-shirt. The 1st runner up will
get 1,000 baht, and 2nd
runner up will get 500 baht. Every female cyclist
ranked from 2nd to 5th will get a trophy. All cyclists will get a certificate and a
t-shirt as a souvenir.
