Daily Working

Before opening the shop

1. Make sure it is plugged in. 2. Make sure that there is enough paper on a roll to use. 3. Check that the date and time are right. 4. Maintain enough changes in the drawer.

While the shop is open

1. Follow the registration steps properly. 2. Check the latest total sales by turning the switch mode

to ‘X’ if needed.

After closing the shop

1. Check the daily sales total. 2. Reset the daily sales total by turning the switch mode to

‘Z’. 3. Pick up some money in the drawer. 4. To turn off, turn the switch mode to ‘OFF’.

Operated Screen

1. Showing the department number Every time you sell a product, the product’s department number will appear as the first 2 numbers on the screen.

2. Showing the product number (PLU) Every time you sell a product, the product number (PLU) will appear as the first 3 numbers on the screen.

3. Showing the number of the same product sold Every time you sell over 2 pieces of a product, the second number will show the total amount of the product (maximum at 9 pieces).

4. Operated Screen The screen can show the sales total, date and time (maximum at 8 digits).

1. Initialization

/ Loading Backup Memory Battery

To initialize… 1. Turn the switch mode to ‘OFF’. 2. Load the backup memory battery. 3. Plug the power cord into the outlet. 4. Turn the switch mode to ‘REG’.

NOTE: To avoid losing all your settings and sales data, we recommend you to load the backup memory battery.

To load the backup memory battery 1. Remove the printer cover. 2. Open the battery cover under the roll paper. 3. Load 3 pieces of AAA-battery.

Make sure that you load and face it properly with the plus (+) and minus (-) sides.

4. Close the battery cover and then the printer cover firmly.

NOTE: Please replace the backup memory battery every year.

2. Loading Roll Paper

Turn the switch mode to ‘REG’.

To load the paper

1. Remove the printer cover by lifting up from the back.

2. Put a roll paper into the holder.

3. Cut the end of the paper with scissors and put the paper into the inlet.

4. After putting the paper into the inlet, press the FEED button until 20-30 centimeters of paper is pulled from the printer.

5. Roll a few turns of paper onto a reel.

6. Set the left plastic plate and the reel together; place them into the register.

7. Press the FEED button again to let the register arrange and fit the reel properly.

8. Close the printer cover into place.

To remove the paper

1. Remove the printer cover by lifting up from the

back.

2. Press the FEED button and let about 20 centimeters of paper come out.

3. Cut the paper with scissors.

4. Remove the roll paper from the register and also remove the left plastic plate from the reel.

5. Remove the roll of paper from the reel.

6. Cut off the remaining paper and then remove the core of the roll paper.

7. Load a new roll of paper following the above instructions.

3. Basic Programming for Quick Start

Turn the switch mode to ‘PGM’.

To set the date When the screen shows flashing ‘0’ as in the

figure below,

enter the current date in Date-Month-Year order. Ex. November 21, 2014 as 21-11-14

Enter 6 digits, last 2 digits as a year.

To set the time When the screen shows flashing ‘0’ as in the

figure below,

enter the current time in Hour-Minute order. Ex. 8:13 PM as 20-14

Enter 4 digits in 24-hour time system.

4. Basic Operation after Basic Programming

Turn the switch mode to ‘REG’.
