63° LABORATORIO IN CARCERE Incontrarsi in Europa – Le Castagne

A distanza di un anno dal primo Meeting Internazionale di Taste Of Freedom è stato fatto fatto il punto sull’evolversi del progetto. Fausto, Diego e Chiara hanno dato voce alle immagini delle visite effettuate nei carceri di Sintra (Portogallo) - Panevezys (Lituania) - Ayas (Turchia).L’appuntamento si è concluso con un Laboratorio su l’uso delle Castagne in cucina.

63rd JAIL LAB Meeting in Europe – The Chestnut

One year after the first Taste of Freedom International Meeting we focused on the evolution of the project. Fausto, Diego and Chiara showed the pictures of our visits in Sintra (Portugal) – Panevezys (Lithuania) – Ayas (Turkey) jails.The meeting ended with a Lab about the use of chestnuts in cooking.

Presentazione pubblica (con ottima partecipazione esterna) di un libro promosso da Slow Food Monteregio… vecchie ricette e stili di vita dimenticati all'insegna del non spreco e del riutilizzo di avanzi e di scarti. Seguito dalla degustazione di alcuni piatti realizzati con le ricette del libro.

Public launch (with great external attendance) of a book promoted by Slow Food Monteregio...old recipes and forgotten lifestyles teach people how to avoid food waste and use left-overs and food scraps. Then tasting of some recipes contained in the book.

LABORATORIO DI SCRITTURA CREATIVA CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP

Istruzioni  per  l’uso:

1)  piccolo  gruppo  di  detenu0  5/6  

•  nell’a7vità  coinvolgimento  di  un  educatore  e/o  un  insegnante  

•  programmare  almeno  2/3  incontri  

2)  primo  incontro  introdurre  il  lavoro,  fare  conoscere  il  ques0onario  “Il  

cibo  dietro  le  sbarre”,  s0molare  la  narrazione  delle  riceFe  

3)  ogni  detenuto  che  partecipa  al  laboratorio,  racconta  una  riceFa  che  

ha    una  storia,  una  mo0vazione,  un’usanza  del  suo  paese

4)  scelta  condivisa  delle  5  riceFe

Infine  ....  dove  si  può,  cucinare  e  gustare  uno  dei  pia7  narra0

Documentare  tu4a  l’a5vità  con  foto,  filma;,  disegni,.......

Instruc;ons  manual:

1)  small  group  of  5|6  prisioners2)  involvement  of  a  teacher  in  the  workshop  3)  preset  2  or  3  mee0ngs:a)  first  mee0ng,  workshop  introduc0on,  show  to  the  prisioners  the  survey:  “what  and  how  you  eat  in  jail”,  s0mulate  the  recipe  telling  by  the  inmates.b)  each  prisioner  in  the  workshop  tells  a  recipe  of  his  country,  a  recipe  with  a  story,  a  recipe  with  a  meaning  for  him,  one  that  is  releted  with  somthing  important  in  his  life.c)  shared  choose  of  5  recipes.At  the  end...  where  is  possible  cook  and  eat  one  of  the  told  food.  Make  photos,  movies  and  drawings  during  the  whole  workshop  to  report  it  ....

65th JAIL LAB Chocolate The Taste of Freedom meetings went on with their high profile thanks to the cooperation offered by some important national companies. This Taste Lab® was based on the help of a dynamic Genova company, the Otto & Co S.r.l.The high quality of chocolate opened the numerous participants' hearts and minds making the meeting very dynamic.
