CreativePresentations

Exploringengagingways to present work tostakeholders. Needstobe succinct to convey ideas easily andquickly. Makingitreusableand multipurpose also helps.

@DesDigitalWorld#digitalworldReusable is good as it is something that you can use time and time again when called into meetings or being introduced to other stakeholders. Visual means of presenting the data is engaging13

@DesDigitalWorld#digitalworldI have used this video to explain research at academic conferences but also internally in meetings. The aim was to provide a quick overview of the method and the type of data being collected. It is a fairly new technique so this is something I often have to do. I like using it as it saves me spending too much valuable presentation time explain the method when I want to move on and talk about findings etc.

Easy to produce using images and iMovie. Could also achieve similar using a slide show and animations/transitions.14

@DesDigitalWorld#digitalworldIn this instance we were given a budget for this specific purpose. The video can be found here:http://vimeo.com/86504046. I worked with a producer and crew to make it and really enjoyed the process. It was after this experience that I started making my own videos.I often use parts of the video interspersed with slides when presenting this work. It can also be used as a standalone piece shown on TV screens at demos or poster sessions.
