easy communication from teacher to student Teachers can use Twitter
to send out announcements, homework reminders, and even
motivational quotes and educational links Facebook can be used by
teachers to connect with parents on a more personal level, and also
to make announcements Facebook can also be used as a way to
directly message a teacher that is faster than emailing but more
professionally appropriate than texting
BlogsBlogs, such as Blogger, can be used to post weekly or even
daily announcements, assignments, and updates that students can
easily look up on their own timeStudents can also use blogs to post
homework assignments and projects
Podcasts and Websites Podcasts are voice recordings that can be
used to give mini lectures or extra explanations of what the
students are learning in class Websites can be used to post
announcements, homework assignments, syllabi, educational links,
and downloadable forms Websites can also be used to give teachers
more of a creative outlet to express who they are and what their
teaching style is Parents can get to know who is teaching their
children Podcasts can be posted on a teachers website for easy
viewing
