CTK – A2 Media: Unit G324 Advanced Portfolio Coursework HORROR GENRE TASK: Horror Genre Research SOFTWARE: Weebly/Word/PowerPoint/YouTube DESCRIPTI ON: All the work that was completed during the transition period and over the summer must be refined and presented on your website. All work must be presented as a team effort, so you should have 3-4 versions of each task. However, you will need to make all the work visually engaging for the examiner as you transition packs are very word based (think about embedded trailers, uploaded posters etc). You will need to separate the webpage in to 10 different tasks. 1. Iconic Horror Films. 2. Horror Semiotics. 4. Horror Sub-Genres. 5. Horror Theories. 6. Trailer Content Analyses. 7. Treatments. 8. Storyboards. 9. Film Crits. 10. Summer Work. What is important is that there is no repetition on your website! All work presented to the examiner should reflect a group effort therefore you will need to combine all your summer efforts in to one presented outcome. Remember, the examiners want you to be as creative as possible: PowerPoint’s, images, videos, sketches etc. OBJECTIVE : To demonstrate to the examiner a wide range of research strategies.
