• Three dedicated GIS computers in the BEL Technical Library (located on the South end of the library)

• Cape Town Municipality GIS data of the city of Cape Town from 1998 until 2012

• Tutorials for identifying and extracting data are available on each GIS computer desktop

• Students are encouraged to find and extract necessary data in the library and manipulate the data using AutoCAD software available in the department computer labs
