How something is done...
1. Enter class quietly, stand behind chair and wait to be asked to be seat.
2. Teacher will instruct you what to do once seated or it will be posted on board. Monitor
shades in place till told to “Go.”
3. Classroom Jobs: follow job description.Pod Teacher Assistant, Pod Office Manager, Job Substitute, Pod Task Monitor, On Vacation
4. During instructional time: you to are listen, ask questions, take notes, and participate when instructed. Use hand signal to speak!
5. Your Attention Needed: Sound, My Voice- “Can I have your attention please?” Stop immediately and look.
6. Classroom work time: remain in seat unless you have a job, raise hand to speak, stay in seat unless given permission.
7. Dismissal: student jobs performed; pods dismissed once students standing quietly behind chair , proceed to quiet zone.
8. Homework: given periodically, needs to be returned next class period. Absent? Due next computer lab time.
9. Completed Assignments: all work must contain your first and last name, date, and topic. Assignment due date will be announced. (Fill out “Missing Work Form stating reason for lateness, reason not done, missing)
10: Absent: please see teacher for any missing work and check your manilla folder. Be proactive, not reactive. Extensions given as needed. (fill out “Missing Work Form” )
11. Supplies: Some classes will be required to bring a binder to record assignments. Come prepared with a pencil. Manilla folders provided and paper for note taking.
12. Need Help: Red Hand Posted on monitor, Pod Teacher Assistant will assist, or teacher. Continue working if able, or practice keyboarding only.
13. Restroom: you may use restroom during non-instructional time and if no one has pass. Look, raise hand, cross fingers, nod given, leave quietly.
Other things to know:**Only visit assigned sites.** Only music, videos, social networks
permitted if assigned. **Collaboration (talking)?Absolutely, when
given permission.**Questions! Absolutely, use your hand!

3. Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
4. Respect your classmates and your teacher.
Consequences
1st time a rule is broken: Warning
2nd time a rule is broken: Time-out
3rd time a rule is broken: letter home or a call home
